Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s childhood coach Dinesh Lad backed Virat Kohli to make a strong comeback on the international stage.

Kohli’s struggles with the bat have been a talking point for experts and fanatics of the game for over a year.

The former Indian skipper hasn’t been able to dominate with the willow with an abundance of runs like in his prime time.

In fact, Kohli didn’t breach the three-figure mark in 100 games in any level of cricket including IPL.

Lad also wants Kohli to break legendary player Sachin Tendulkar’s exemplary record of 100 international centuries.

Virat is a wonderful batsman, and I feel he’ll make a strong comeback. Almost every cricketer has had to go through a bad patch 

even Vivian Richards and Sunil Gavaskar went through a bad patch,” Lad told India TV.
